30 volunteers will help care for the gardens by cleaning beds, transplanting trees, and other tasks as needed.

• ​Afterparty: Mi Tierra en La Villita (2528 S Kedzie Ave, Chicago, IL 60623). Food available.

• ​Parking: There is a large parking lot at Holy Family Ministries and the YMCA across from the school.

• ​Transit: Kedzie-Homan Blue Line station

​Special instructions: The garden is south of the parking lot. Head to the southern middle section and take a left up the incline.
