20 volunteers will be building Fresh Start Kits for those who have previously experienced homelessness. The kits contain much-needed supplies like mops, soap, and laundry detergent.

Gardeneers
30 volunteers will be completing gardening tasks with Gardeneers at Homan Rails Farm. Come prepared to get your hands dirty! Volunteers should bring sunscreen and long pants for gardening activities.

Volunteer with SparkShop
20 volunteers will be packing manufacturing and industrial engineering kits. Our goal is 400-500 kits in two hours! Volunteers will help with the assembly line, quality control, replenishment, or shipping.

Volunteer with the Chicago Park District
60 volunteers will be cleaning up Humboldt Park. Supplies will be provided onsite.

Parking: Drivers can park directly in the Boathouse Parking Lot. This is a great event to VUber to, either as a volunteer driver or a passenger.

Cardz for Kidz | February Event
60 volunteers will be counting, sorting and packaging cards to be shipped to children worldwide.

Amnesty International | January
20 volunteers will be writing letters for 9 cases as a part of Amnesty International’s Write for Rights campaign. . Additional activities will include photo actions for missing people, signing petitions, and craft contests. The specific cases we will be working on can be found here.

Pack carts of food, bring food outside to clients, pack toiletry bags, stock shelves, and sort clothing donations with Care for Real.

Bags and Mats for Those in Need
Cut plastic bags to create plastic bag yarn, crochet sleeping mats for migrants and unhoused populations, and package mats for delivery.

Trash Trekkers, Pullman National Historical Park
Volunteers picked up trash and cleaned the grounds of the Pullman National Historical Park with the Trash Trekkers. At the end of the event, volunteers became junior park rangers!
